Refined Federation Masterpiece

Concept Brief

With our clients living in Europe and their home having multiple tenants, this property was needing a total facelift and update. Our client were slightly hesitant due to the distance between us and not knowing anything about TDC. Within a day, they ’d warmed to our overwhelming charm and knowledge of the area. The reigns were dropped and within 48 hours it was full steam ahead.

When I say home, I mean grand residence, was covered in dust, cobwebs and many years of lost love. With the agents breathing down our necks, TDC had to pull every resource possible to get the job over the line.

The brief was to transform their house into a ‘refined federation masterpiece’. Paint colour was ever important, not only for my clients but more importantly the buying public. This had to sing. The colour chosen wasn’t one of our modern white but rather a crisp ecru white, stylish, elegant yet modern. All the hard floors were sanded and polished to a dramatic ebony

Project Highlights

First impressions are lasting and for this property the street entry, through iron gates down to the front door had to look impeccable. Planting, hedging and fleshing up the historic iron fence was essential to creating the polished street appearance. Not an easy feat, when considering that this garden hadn’t been maintained for years. But with the team behind us, this was achieved successfully.

Step inside to the magnificent entry foyer, formal lounge off to the left and the stunning light filled family room streamed look at me. This room with vaulted ceilings and circular walls spelt out pure refinement by the time the property went to market

TDC work was critical, but our alliance with two of Sydney ’s premier staging companies, dressed this house into a beautiful home

Project Feature

On the lower level of this home, one room just had no needing purpose. For days we bantered with the clients and the agents on exactly what would be the be the ideal solution. Another Tv room, bedroom and extra study….

For a property of this size, we agreed on a ‘ cellar/tasting room’ was the obvious choice. Joinery was transformed, racks built and filled with cases of wine. The opinion from prospective clients was this room made the home. Good investment for dollars spent

Final Result

This property was marketed within days of TDC make over. After a very successful marketing campaign, this property was sold to a very lucky family. And for my clients, it was complete hassle free preparation through to our concierge service whom prepared the home before it open.
