The project was rolled out in 3 stages.

Stage1. The Build.
Within a four-month period the property was transformed – from shabby beach shack to ultimate Coastal Luxe pad. To accommodate the family, we added a 4th bedroom with ensuite and created a second living area. In that living room, the joinery is a divine, timber multilayered feature wall, that has become an absolute talking point of the home.
Walls were removed and the kitchen received a complete overhaul, creating an open plan space that flows seamlessly to the dining area, then through to the front terrace, overlooking the water.

Stage 2. The Furniture.
We now had a stunning blank canvas to work with, and were instructed to commission all bespoke furniture to best compliment the new interior. All raw weathered feels – using linens, canvas & washed prints to add detail. Light fixtures, window finishes & floor rugs completed the interior design.

Stage 3. Outdoors
A full year went by before Stage 3 was approved. It gave the clients time to stay in the home and get a feel for what spaces they used most and what they would utilise them for. The back courtyard became their dramatic entry from the street-front. It was a statement of what was to come – large couches, ottomans and textured cushions, a lush planting scheme, raw timber decking and unfinished, rusty steel features.
The front terrace, that overlooks the water became their ultimate entertaining area – with low lying couches next to an external fireplace, a raised bar table and stools and electric blinds to allow for all year entertaining.
